Quiet, satisfactory and in the centre of the town. excellent base for people like me who love to walk and explore on foot, but said that every kind of transport is near by.

The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was plentiful and good. the location was great and very convenient for sightseeing. the owner was very accommodating when i wanted to change my room. the room size was very adequate; bigger than i expected.The location, although good, was very noisy. even when i asked for another room in the back, the room faced an alley of restaurants and bars. hence, i could hear the green light bar's music all night, and loud people walking in the alley. The front desk staff was very nice; the attached bar/restaurant was very calming and friendly.The fact that they only had one room key per room and you had to leave it at the front desk was a little disturbing, particularly since you just asked for a room number when you came back -- no id check; no "are you staying in this room?", etc.Anonymous

Had a great time, we booked 3 bedded room, but ended up with a very large spacious 4 bedded room, all staff very nice, ideal location to enjoy amsterdam. would certainly recommend.Gerhardsen
