How to reach the Hotel Ramenas City Centre?1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You can take bus: 18, 22 and 46 from the square in front of the station to the Buiten oranjestraat. From there you can walk to the hotel +/- 2 min. the trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM

We had the aprtment room. it was spacious. u could of slept 8 lads easy if you snuck them in.No microwave. only a toastie maker. shower was crap and teh room was pretty basic. rips in sofa. but a good place to get mashed up, smoke and generally have a lalf.balazs

Good location, nice coffee shop around the corner, free breakfastTowels in room not changed daily, nor beds, window held open with a piece of wood, toilet was so close to the opposite wall made it impossible to snap one off if your over 6 foot tall (unless your a russian gymnast), rooms on the front suffer from terrible road noise in the morning, couldn't get deposit back on key because i checked out before 9am, more hostel than hotel.Anonymous

Location was excellent, view from attic room was great and good shower!Breakfast was poor only allowed a cup of tea or a glass or orange juice not both and only given one slice of cheese and ham with bread. facilities of hotel were extremely basic,
i would describe this hotel as a hostel not a hotel. we arrived at the hotel at 13.40, they took our money but didn't show us to our room as said we had to come back after 14.00 even though the cafe' was empty. the view from the double room was terrible so we moved to the attic room. i wouldn't recommend this hotel. Excellent location, very good prices. best value for money. other hotels in this price range i found on the net did not offer free breakfastRoom was very small. though, i should not complain for the price i had to pay.Marsano

We stayed in one of the apartments and it was absolutely fantastic! loads of room, everything was clean and a brilliant locations. would highly recommend!The only negative thing i can think of were the stairs leading up to our apartment...they were very steep and a bit difficult to get up with our luggage. but they weren't really a big problem.flood

I stayed in the studio apartment and it was great, close to the city centre in a nice area of amsterdam. it was just like having your own flat with a kitchen and also a massive fireplace which was great at night to keep you warm. i would definitely stay here again it was well worth the money and i would recommend anyone who is staying for more than 3 days to stay here!Hylands

We stayed in a 4-bed apartment which is part of the hotel but a 2 minutes walk away on an attractive, quite street with great access to bars and restaurants. the apartment was very spacious with basic cooking facilities, sofa, tv, comfy beds and great view over the roof tops of amsterdam. for a budget price this was excellent value. we'd definitely stay there again. i can't comment on the rooms directly in the hotel, as we didn't see them.Slight dam smell throughout the building. narrow staircase up to the rooms so not good for the disabled traveller. only one small saucepan was provided which made it a challenge to cook a meal for 4 people. For the price its ok, no thrills, just beds and a small bathroom. They said no smoking pot, but we never had any problems. the beds were fairly uncomfortable and squeaked when you moved. Anonymous
