Rooms & Co enjoys a strategic location in the centre of Amsterdam. The city centre and numerous museums are all at walking distance from the hotel, but they are also easily reachable by tram and metro.
The house is located on a quiet street right behind Stadhouderskade, lining the inner circle of Amsterdam, and is well connected with the city centre making it easy to reach Dam Square and Amsterdam Central Station.
How to reach the Hotel Rooms and Co?By train: From Schiphol Airport, there is also a regular train service running directly from the airport terminal to Amsterdam Central Station which takes 20 minutes. From the station follow the directions below (by train).
By tram: Take tram no. 4 from Amsterdam Central Station to tram-stop "Stadhouderskade" which takes about 15 minutes. From the tram stop it is then a 2-minute walk to Rooms & Co.

Staff were very friendly, welcoming, helpful and informative. we stayed in the blue room which was of a good size. the rooms were clean and airy, with wardrobe space and en-suite bathroom (shower/toilet). very steap/thin stairs leading up to the tops floors, if you have big feet you might struggle with these a bit, but they add to the quaintness and charm of the hotel.
compared to the other hotels within the area the prices were reasonable and i would stay here again.
the hotel is about a half hour walk from the centre, this might seem a fair distance, but we found that it was an ideal location to see more of the city, it was in walking distance of the museum quarter, and a straight walk to the centre, by staying a bit out of the main centre we found we got to experiance more of the city. 
Unfortunatley there was a very unpleasent smell in the bathroom of what i can only think was the drains in the, appeared to come mostly from the shower area, and mostly present in the late afternoon.
no drinking cups/ glasses in the rooms for water (although when asked for these were provided)
beds although they were comfy, they were two singles pushed together with two single quilts, as a young couple, this isnt the most ideal, manageable but they did tend to push apart in the night, this wouldn't have been so bad had it been a double quilt but the two singles just added to the feeling of it being two seperate beds. This was the first time me and my wife went to amsterdam, and in this hotel we felt like home. clear room, big bed, excellent staff and facilities. completely recommended!It is not exactly in the centre of the city, but you can easly get there in less than 15 minutes by tram.stocks

Well the whole stay was brillent macala the hostes was fantasic. the rooms we had was so clean really nice showers were to die for very clever how they are done. the owner was very nice. i recomend to go ther as they were very kind very clean and very helpfull. the beds were so good slept so well. i would deff go back again. i rate it 10 out of 10. thank u again for maken are holiday speical.adkins

The blue room was very spacious, loved the cow decor, the huge windows, fantastic bathroom. loved the privacy of the place and location distance to centre. will definitely be rebooking in the near future. - very comfy and clean bedding.NoneAnonymous

Me and my mate went for a three day trip to amsterdam. we couldn't have been happier with the rooms and co hotel we stayed in and if we go back to the dam we will definately stay there again. the owner of the place is an ausie chap who was a cracking fella and was happy to give us info on different places to visit. we didn't manage to get up for breakfast once because we weren't getting in till the early hours but the other people staying their said it was delicious. the hotels location was perfect for us because we didn't want to be right in the centre but wanted to be walking distance from all the dam has to offermarkomichali christine

The hotel very clean, had friendly, helpfull staff. would def stay here again!!!The only slight gripe i have is that i e-mailed the hotel 3 times prior to my check in, to notify them of my arrival time and to ask a few questions, however was disappoited that i duid not recieve a response at all.Anonymous

We came for a special anniversary long week end and we had a fantastic time! the two managers were very friendly and cooked us a fantastic yunmmy breakfast every morning! the hotek was very quiet and the room was tastefully decorated, clean and spacious and the bed so very comfortable!! i will recommend this hotel to all my friends and will definitely go back there!We had some difficulties at first to find restaurants around the hotel but we got there at the end!!Anonymous

The room was immaculately clean and the integral bathroom was fitted out really well and in a very contemporary style. the kitchen/breakfast room was light, airy, clean and modern. the two people who run the hotel are really pleasant and helpful. the hotel is small and intimate and attracted a wide selection of people - young, old, singles and couples.Perhaps its in keeping with the contemporary decor, but the rooms are very sparse - not even a hairdryer (perhaps you have to ask for this, but it seems a basic for a hotel room). when we stayed the weather was freezing, but the heating was set to come on quite late - when we came back to get changed and showered before going out for dinner, the room was bitterly cold. the location is just that little bit out - one long block away from anywhere that is well lit, which means you have to walk 5 - 10 minutes in very dark streets (although we saw nothing to actually trouble us0.Anonymous

On arrival i found the entrance less than what i had expected but i was greeted with a smile and shown up some quite steep stqairs to my room. (blue room). throughout my short stay the hospitalty was excellent, the breakfast an experience (good) and i wouold be happy to go back. a bit confusing re. payment as i was expected to pay cash but in the end my card was taken.Anonymous

Great location. only a 10 minute walk into the very heart of amsterdam.staff were very welcoming. stayed in a deluxe room which had plenty of space and a luxurious bathroom.I suppose the only negative remark was that it was a twin room and not a double which we were not informed of beforehand.
