How to reach the Hotel Schiphol A4?By car: coming from the direction Amsterdam or Utrecht take the A9 or A10 and follow the signs Schiphol. They lead onto the freeway A4, direction The Hague. Drive past the airport and turn of at exit 4, (Nieuw-Vennep, Alphen a/d Rijn). Cross the A4 by taking a left and turn back onto it, direction Amsterdam. Take exit “Den Ruygen Hoek”.
By train, from Amsterdam Central Station: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from Amsterdam Central Station to the airport. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to the below step).
By free shuttle, from Schiphol Airport: The hotel's free shuttle service brings you to and from Schiphol Airport between 06.00 am until 11.40 pm. The shuttle bus runs every 40 minutes.

Free hotel shuttle bus to and from airport is very handy. you can get to the airport in just 10 mins and get a train to amsterdam centre (15 mins). so easy and nice staying in a more relaxed areaAnonymous

I really enjoyed the outdoor eating area. it was a nice suprise on a sunny day. they served from the same menu as the main restaurant. the food was really nice and a good value. i booked the room because it looked like a good value, but turned out to be really elegent. the bed was very comfortable.I had trouble working the tv and the lighting in the room was too dim to read comfortably at night. Very large room, good location, swimming pool is a real advantage.No or coffee or in the room - paid 2€ at the restaurant for a cup of coffee that i had to bring back to my room. not very convenient. Anonymous

They don't offer hot water as the other hotels do. they need to charge $8 eur for a jar of hot water, which is very inconvenience for customers.
besides, the structure of the hotel is very inconvenience, need to take 2 different elevators before getting to the room and the room was so far away from the main entrance. Anonymous

We think the hotel service was very good. it was a nice weekend in amsterdam,thank youIt was a bit far from the centre of the city and we would like to have some more busses at night for example at 1 am and 2 am. when we missed last bus other hotels was still taking customers.Anonymous

This is a beautiful hotel, really a world-class place in terms of the facility. our rooms were lovely and well-appointed. we heard no air traffic noise during the night despite its proximity to the airport. reception desk people were friendly and helpful. shuttle to the airport was easy to use.We had a very negative experience at the restaurant just off the lobby of the hotel. it took close to an hour just to get a basket of french bread brought to the table and another hour after that for our entrees to come. when it came time to pay the bill, the waiter/maitre'd was very cool and almost rude. puzzling, as i wouldn't expect that kind of treatment in such an upscale restaurant.Anonymous

Not during the stay ,but once i left the hotel and payed the whole bill they have deducted extra money from my credit card. i have tried to speak to them but they said e-mail us. i have done this twice now but nobody has acknowledged my mail and also my money has not been put back in my account.i am struggling to get my money back which is very annoying.Anonymous

The place was more or less a palace! every part of the hotel was clean and well decorated. we had the quad room which was fantastic for 4 lads over in amsterdam for the scotland match! the large plasma tv was superb! not to mention the swimming pool which was great for curing the morning hangovers!
would definately stay there again, will probably stay when i take the wife and kid to amsterdam at some point.Only the slow check in really. but your mind was easily taken off by some of the gorgeous girls who worked behind the desk! the walk to the room was a bit of a pain actually, but not too bothered by it.Anonymous

Decent room for the priceHad a hard time finding it. there is no sign along the road nor a name on the hotel that can be seen from the highway. location on google maps was incorrect.
