The hotel is located in the city centre, in the heart of the red light district, only a 5-minutes walking distance from Amsterdam Central Train Station and Dam Square.
In the Red Light District you might notice some things you wouldn't find in your average neighborhood: large number of coffee shops, Live sex shows, clubs, bars and girls!
How to reach the Hotel Torenzicht?1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You can take metro: 51, 53 and 54 from the square in front of the station to the Nieuwmarkt. From there you can walk to the hotel +/- 4 min. the trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM

In the middle of the red light district, 10 walk from central station. excellent location for those wanting to see this and sorrundings areas.

Excellent hotel. stayed here with friends for my stag. staff were great, rooms were fine, basic but clean, 24 hour bar, showers and toilets were clean (big+). location was spot on perfect for the night life and city tours. 4.50 euros (£4.50) for a large beer, crazy to say but that is cheap, lol!! all in all very good hotel. i would recommended for singles, young couples (18-30), stags/hens. Great place for a group of guys to stay, friendly staff.Where as the website states that some rooms are without ensuite bathrooms, in our experience all rooms were without ensuite. other than this, all good.Swint

Can't beat the location for a good partying time in the 'dam. good cheap place for when you only need a place to sleep it off. ask for room 15.No tv, radio, phone or alarm clock in room, but it's no big deal with plenty of entertainment just outside the window.davies
