Because of the structure of the monumental building the hotel is housed in, none of the rooms are the same, but all are simple and clean and equipped with washing facilities and a television. How to reach the Hotel Travel?2) From Amsterdam Central Station: From the Central Station of Amsterdam, it's a 5-minute walk to the hotel:
- Take the main exit and go straight in the direction of Dam Square onto the Damrak street;
- Follow this main street (Damrak) which you can recognize from the canal boats on your left and the Victoria hotel on your right-hand side.
- At the end of the canal (when you see the Grasshopper building on your left) turn left into de 'Oude Brugsteeg';
- At the next street (at the entrance of the Grasshopper) turn right into the 'Beursstraat' and you will find the hotel on number 23, recognizable from the huge green and yellow 'Travel Hotel' sign on the building.

Location amazing, also the room was pretty good for the price, simple but cheap.Room was on the 5th floor- no lift, but we were aware of this before booking, just unlucky we were that high up!

Clean room, excellent location, bargain price, allowed us to check in early as we arrived about 11am and check in was from 2pm.Thin walls, people in next room listening to cascada full blast at 9am, the bells, check out at 10am, being lectured by the receptionist on the way out that "you know check out was over an hour ago"! yes, we were aware of that, thankyou! We went for the quad room with shared facilities and when we arrived they did not have this room so they upgraded us to the 6 bedroom with en-suite no extra charge!! very central next to the cafes short walk to dam sq. Nothing negative.Anonymous
