How to reach the Hotel Utopia?1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).
2) From Amsterdam Central Station: Tram 1, 2, 5 and 13 stop in front of the hotel, the first stop from Amsterdam Central Station. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

Great for budget traveling, alone or with friends ect, also nice to have a coffee shop attached to the hotelThe hotel time on the door said open at 8.30am but actually opens at 9.30am so we had to kill an hour to wait to check in, also the website told us that there was breakfast
included but they no longer serve breakfast. Anonymous

First impression was good with there being a coffee shop right next door (is part of the hotel)the person had some really good weed , also the location was 2 min walk from dam squareThe only negative thing i can say was if your on the top floor its like climbing mt everest (north face) lol stairs are a little querkey but over all, all i wanted was to sleep and it was good enough for that Anonymous

Best locatain. hotel staff are really nice and helpful. you could also buy weed from the hotel coffee shop which made it a most enjoyable and pleasent experience.The room was like my parents did love me anymore and put me in a box roomRamakrishna

Lovely to wake up and step right down to the coffeeshop utopia. very basic rooms, average weed, friendly staff and outdoor seating.Wrap up that food boys or you'll get totally moused out!

Great location and cheap (for the location). very basic but if all you need is a bed, bog and shower (shared) then this will do fine. terrible for a romantic getaway but ideal for a boozy, stoned, weekend in the dam.Toilet and shower facilities were very basic indeed.Anonymous
