The room floor was not clean, shower had no handshower, there was only cold water one morning, all bathroom floor got wet after shower, system simply did not work.Location is good and breakfast all right.

My husband and I have a 7 month old baby and decided to spend Easter break in Amsterdam. Even though we were planning the trip a few months ahead, hotel V was one of the few hotels available on that particular weekend. The location is great and the staff is amazingly helpful and friendly! To be honest, the hotel is not really designed for babies: very tiny elevator, a few steps to enter the main lobby (we had a pram) and no bath tub. The room was rather small and not a very good mattress, but overall, the staff and the location made our visit very enjoyable and pleasant. I think it's a better place when you go there without kids. The lobby is very hip and very relaxing. I would definitely come back though.

Second time staying at Hotel V and would recommend to those in need of a base while in Amsterdam. Excellent cleanliness and the staff are always there to help.Small rooms and bathrooms but have wonderful decor.We stayed on the lower ground and it did get quite noisy during the night, especially when events were being held in the bar above.This would be the only qualm - nothing some ear plugs can't solve! Good breakfst selection, with fresh food throughout service. Tram stops directly outside with connections to the airport and just ten minute walk to the main shopping street.Will definitely stay here again.

Pros: Staff were very welcoming, polite and approachable. the rooms were spotless and the continental breakfast was very nice. overall, it is a very nice hotel and would definitely consider staying there again.

The hotel was very modern and clean with very helpful staff although our room was like a matchbox it had just about enogh space for a double bed. The room was nice and the bathroom was very clean. Overall all good hotel but the room was tiny. I would recommend this hotel however upgrade to a bigger room lol

Pros: From the staff who are very friendly and helpful, to the facilities of the hotel,cleanliness,value for money & location were excellent. it is not very often that the hotel description matches to what you actually find. however hotel v delivers exactly what it says on their website. the location of the hotel is excellent and relatively in a quiet neighbourhood and only ten mintues walk or a short tram ride into the heart of the city. the free internet is very useful and the free tea & coffee served 24hrs a day was most welcome. i would definitely stay at hotel v again and i would recommend to all types of travellers. the atmosphere is relaxed but at the same time very efficient.

Pros: The hotel is really lovely, because it's a small hotel you don't fel lost among all the guests. the staff is really friendly and helpful. great location for people who want to discover the real amsterdam and get out of the touristy center.
the rooms was small, but with a cosy feel
Cons: Only negative point was the window, was not double glazed and because was on the main street was quite noizy until about 11pm.

Pros: The staff was very helpful and pleasant. i thought the breakfast selection was also excellent. a good value for a clean and nice hotel.
Cons: Be forewarned that the rooms and bathrooms are very small, but it didn't bother me or my husband since we were staying only one night.

Pros: The manager and staff were very helpful and very pleasant at all times, made the stay excellent. the rooms and the hotel was really clean.there was an excellent choice for breakfast.
