Hotel V Frederiksplein is located at a brilliant spot in the city centre, on the edge of the beautiful Frederiksplein and the hip Pijp area. Perfect for people that want to get to know Amsterdam, with a tram and taxi stand in front of the door. The hotel is within a very short walking distance of the glamorous shops and restaurants in the Utrechtsestraat.
The inspiring and very multicultural Albert Cuyp market is almost around the corner of the hotel. The canals are truly within crawling distance and the Rembrandtsplein and the Leidseplein, with their spectacular nightlife, are close by. All famous museums and theatres can be easily reached as is the Rai convention center.
How to reach the Hotel V Frederiksplein?From Schiphol Airport: Take a train to Rai Station or Central Station and follow instructions below. Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Rai Station and Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM.
From Central Station: Take either tram 4 or 25 in front of Amsterdam Central Station and get off at stop 'Frederiksplein'. The hotel is opposite the large Dutch National Bank building around the corner in front of the tram stop.
From Rai Station: Take tram 4 towards Amsterdam Central Station and get off at stop 'Frederiksplein'. Follow the tram tracks. The hotel is opposite the large Dutch National Bank building around the corner in front of the tram stop.

Ubercool, hip, stylish and perfect location at a fraction of the price of boutique hotels. small rooms, minimal and space saving are features of the hotel,so don't be surprised if you have no bath. great breakfast, fab location

Hotel is very modern. great location away from hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to various attractions and also has tram stop outside the door! rooms were small as stated by other travelers, but were spotless and service was brilliant. staff were extremely friendly and helpful. would definitely recommend this hotel. complementary coffee and tea all day. nice breakfast NoneAnonymous

Nice hotel with friendly staff and good location. they offer free coffee or tea all day and the rooms has great pillows!The room was cold even though we put the heating on, radiators didn't heat that well. also had to wait for ages for hot water to start.symonds

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel,rooms very clean, very comfortable and very good access to all of the places we wished to visit. the breakfast provided was really tasty and plentiful, the dining area very pleasant and relaxed. all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. i would definitely recommend this hotel to others.blundell

Prima hotel. kamer verzorgd. ook al is het niet een grote kamer (wat van te voren bekend was), het was een prima kamer voor een verblijf van een aantal nachten. badkamer goed met een regendouche.
