Pros: Excellent location easy to get to from airport. liked the idea of the breakfast in the room suited myself and daughter.
Cons: Those stairs!! not suitable for anyone with problem with stairs. typical dutch though.

Pros: Large bed (2 large singles together, i think) for my wife and i and our 2 1/2 year old son - very comfortable. lovely staff, good location, great room.
Cons: Steep stairs but then it's an old building - part of the character. noise from bar below others have commented on wasn't a problem and from trams only mildly so...

Pros: Great room and facilities, comfy bed, plenty of space
Cons: You will need the earplugs provided and even then, if you are a light sleeper, you might feel the boom boom of the bar below

Pros: Fantastic location with bars, restaurants and clubs all in the vicinity of the hotel.
continental breakfast is eaten in your room. fresh bread is delivered to your door around 8.30am.
large rooms, comfortable beds and excellent ensuite facilities with an abundance of hot water.
Cons: Steep internal staircase. reception on first floor. ground floor bar/club open late (early morning). revellers can be a bit noisy. marnixstrat is a tram line so some tram noise early morning. ear plugs are provided.

have visited amsterdam many times and this was the best hotel by far! beautifully decorated, very helpful and friendly staff and in the best area of amsterdam- leidseplein. breakfast included in the mini fridge in the room, and a basket of fresh bread and croissants delivered everyday at 8.30am outside our room was a the perfect touch.
before visit, emailed hotel asking if possible to have room with balcony, and we were so happy when we arrived to find that we did.
felt like we had rented an apartment as we were left alone to enjoy our time, but if needed, hotel staff were easily contactable and very helpful.
will definitely go back to hotel weber and would recommend to anyone, as long as you can get up the very steep stairs and don't mind some bar noise downstairs (earplugs provided but we didn't need them) then this hotel is perfect!
