How to reach the Hotel Zwanenburg (free airport shuttle)?1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: You can take bus: 300 from the square in front of the station to the Spaarneziekenhuis from there you tak bus 179 to the berkenlaan. From there you can walk to the hotel +/- 4 min. Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station.

Overall was a ok stay. there are no hot breakfast provided only cold buffet, this was a down side!Could not get english channels in the room on tv. the staff are not very cheerful. Anonymous

You web does mention an alternative way of getting to the hotel zwenenburg, ie from amsterdam central station. either by tram or taxi. apperently the taxi fare from amsterdam central to the hotel zwanenburg is rather expensive - 50euro!! - that 50 euro for a 60 euro room!!Anonymous

It was set in a nice quiet neighborhood and the rooms were exceptionally clean!The hotel is far out so a city transit card will not be enough to cover your fare there. the staff knew very little about the city's attractions but for the most part they were friendly.Anonymous

The hotel was clean, bright and comfortable but with a window left open and the heat dial not responding well, it was cold overnight.Airport shuttle information was buried in the webstite, this information could have been more clear. i did try the phone available inside the airport, but never got through this method. i would have liked to have been asked on check out 'how everything was' as that gives the impression the hotel wishes to know what to improve on. We felt welcome and had a very good night's sleep. the breakfast offered was adequate [however, the enthusiastic waitress removed our glasses with juice in them before we were finished]. an adequate facility.We were unable to locate complete seatbelts on the seat behind the driver. not being able to use the shuttle [at a nominal cost] to get to other places is a problem as there is no other transport and when you are an international guest you are stuck there with no possibility to go anywhere else. please note that the main purpose of our stay was to connect with another flight [that category is not included in the question relating to the puspose of our stay.Anonymous

Wanting to see the charming little town but was raining, the man at the reception desk lent me an umbrella.Difficult to get in touch w/hotel as they are not listed on the phone list at the airport. no phone # on the website but found it from info at airport and someone outside called for me.
