Imperial hotel is located in the centre of Amsterdam on a picturesque traffic-free square next to Rembrandt Square, surrounded by restaurants and cafés, and a short walk to several museums.

The square is adjacent to one of Amsterdam’s oldest canals, and just a short walk away from the major museums (the Rijk, the Van Gogh, and the Anne Frank House), the famous flower market, the shopping district, the flea market, two cinema complexes, and many fine restaurants and cafes. There is a 24-hour taxi stand and tram stop around the corner with trams to Amsterdam Central Station and to the RAI Convention Center.
How to reach the Imperial Hotel? How to reach the Imperial Hotel?
1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).

2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You can take tram nr. 4 and 9 from the square in front of the station to 'Rembrandtplein'. From there you can walk to the hotel in approximately 1 minute. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

Excellent location close to shops, bars and cafes. rooms were very clean and tidy.

I would definately recommend this hotel to friends.the room was lovely, clean and the jacquzzi shower was fun. this hotel is way above a two star rating and worth the money. the location is great for nightlife and close to all other tourist attractions. we got a tram when we arrived as we didn't know how far it was from the station but when we left we walked as it was only about 20 mins walk. no matter where we went we couldn't wait to get back to rembrantplein!

Overall very good . enjoyed the stay. very novel shower experience.
Tea /coffee making facility should be included with the price and should be available in the room on arrival. help with bags up the stairs would have been very welcoming.

It was clean. i would strongly recommend both restaurants either side of the hotel.
We arrived late (10.45pm) due to a flight cancellation and the hotel closes at 9pm. we spent 1.5 hours trying to contact the hotel staff / waiting for other guests to let us in, but at 12am we had to find an alternative hotel on a friday night. the nights we did stay were good, but i would not stay at this hotel again for the inconvenience caused.

Very steep stairs and no lift and no one to help with the luggage. the owner was not very helpful or friendly
