Very good and friendly service from the employees. Clean and comfortable considering the price. . Location was very good with walking distance to the mayor places of interest. . We have not lived in a room like this before... beneath the paverment level...but as safe and quite comfortable place to live at we recommend this hotel.Inge & Marita

I recently stayed at this hotel with a friend for a long weekend in Amsterdam and although it was a great location, the room was not worth the £90 a night we paid. When we went to check into the hotel, we were given a room key and sent across the street to another house. Our room was on the top floor and was just big enough to fit two beds in with a shower at the end. There seemed to only be one toilet for the whole 10 rooms, and no reception or helpdesk. If you had any questions you had to go back to the other hotel. The room was in poor condition, half painted with light fittings coming off the wall and a non-working television. If this hotel had been cheap hostel price I would of been happy, but it advertises itself as a hotel, which is a slight stretch of the imagination!

Pros: Nice breakfast, clean, staff was helpful, free wireless internet
Cons: Loud, my room was just next to a busy street, breakfast was seved only from 9, so not good for business travellers

Cons: 2nd stay at the itc. you take pot luck with the rooms as some are far larger than others. there are 3 parts to the itc - the main hotel, their annexe and another building on the other side of the canal. if you require breakfast this can be annoying having to cross the road to the main hotel every morning. my main gripe is the cost - my room didn't even have a window, no kettle and very basic amenities - i would expect more for €110 per night.

Pros: It was a nice hotel for the price range, nice and clean.

it was allowed to smoke in the room, which was alright, since we lived on the 2nd floor.
many coffeeshops and bars nearby, although not the center.

Pros: The location of the hotel is very nice, and the staff is helpful.
Cons: The room i stayed in had only two very tiny windows looking out on a place filled with dirt (such as beer cans).
the bathroom did not function optimally since it was impossible not to get everything wet.

Pros: The staff was massively helpful answering any question, and helping people without reservations find rooms elsewhere, during easter.

Pros: The price was reasonable, altough location was not exactly near to central amsterdam it was quite easy to get to central from the hotel.
Cons: The shower was dirty, the bed linen was stained and the general impression of te hotel was that it was dirty.
i do feel there were a few issues with regards to health and saftey with the stair cases also as they were steep and often in a peculiar location without adequate hand rails.
