 "ITC room 1 (single)"
On arrival, I was allocated a single room (room 1) in the Townhouse rooms across the Bridge from the actual ITC. The room was very small (+/- 6 square meters although the room, the entrance, stairs and common areas were all fresh, clean and well maintained. The Wifi was strong and never waivered. I complained on day one that the hot water did not work at all in the wash hand basin in my room. A member of staff told me it would be dealt with but nobody repaired it or even contacted me during my 6 day stay to advise what was happening. That was particularly disappointing as the shower for my room was on the floor above.I would recommend this Hotel to the budget conscious person who likes a nice clean place to be in a fabulous location that permits very easy access to all that Amsterdam has to offer.

 "Probbly not a good place for chidren"
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was convient to walk or take public transportation to most of the tourist sites. The rooms were clean and refreshed every day. The quests were often noisey throughout the night. One night staff had to pound on the door across the hall in the wee hours of the morning for about 5 minutes in order to get the people in the room to quit smoking weed. The ventilation of the hotel was such that it smelled of old smoke in our room and the hotel the entire next 24 + hours.

 "A new expirience"
Very good and friendly service from the employees. Clean and comfortable considering the price. . Location was very good with walking distance to the mayor places of interest. . We have not lived in a room like this before... beneath the paverment level...but as safe and quite comfortable place to live at we recommend this hotel.Inge & Marita

 "Definitely not worth what we paid!"
I recently stayed at this hotel with a friend for a long weekend in Amsterdam and although it was a great location, the room was not worth the £90 a night we paid. When we went to check into the hotel, we were given a room key and sent across the street to another house. Our room was on the top floor and was just big enough to fit two beds in with a shower at the end. There seemed to only be one toilet for the whole 10 rooms, and no reception or helpdesk. If you had any questions you had to go back to the other hotel. The room was in poor condition, half painted with light fittings coming off the wall and a non-working television. If this hotel had been cheap hostel price I would of been happy, but it advertises itself as a hotel, which is a slight stretch of the imagination!

Pros: Staff are helpful. good fast wifi.
Cons: 2nd stay at the itc. you take pot luck with the rooms as some are far larger than others. there are 3 parts to the itc - the main hotel, their annexe and another building on the other side of the canal. if you require breakfast this can be annoying having to cross the road to the main hotel every morning. my main gripe is the cost - my room didn't even have a window, no kettle and very basic amenities - i would expect more for €110 per night.

Cons: The room i stayed in had only two very tiny windows looking out on a place filled with dirt (such as beer cans).
the bathroom did not function optimally since it was impossible not to get everything wet.
