The hotel staff is very co-operative and most important positive thing of this hotel is located in central of amsterdam where u can move anywhere due to trams and buses is available
There is no lift service available so it is difficult to stay for older persons.

The position of the hotel and cleanliness of the room was excellent, and we really enjoyed our weekend in amsterdam.
We found the price of our room very expensive, and would have prefered a bathroom in it.the staff were a little cold and not very approachable in general.

Location, but thats not special, as everything is in the nearby in amsterdam
Very bad service, the staff attitude is completely negative. when asked about a local internet cafe, he gave me a wrong direction. when i tried to enter the hotel around 6pm by ringing the doorbell, because i couldnt find my key card, the manager - who was just standing next to the door - after opening it, immediately started to lectur me that i shouldnt bother him and next time i have to use my card. he could saw that my hands were full carrying a couple of bags and it was not a big deal for him to open the door... the hotel is supposedly non-smoking, but i could smell some weed coming from a room, so the enforcement of this rule also seems to be liberal.

The location of the hotel was exactly what we had wanted. the room size with pull out beds was a good layout.
When we arrived there was no one on reception and no idication of how to contact the hotel manager/reception staff. we waited for 30 minutes in the lobby and tried phoning the hotel number in case the call was diverted to private quarters somewhere; but there was no response. we were about to leave and try to find alternative accomodation when we noticed a small button on the door frame. we pressed it a couple of times and the hotel manager appeared at the front door very angry and rude and insisted that we should have only rung the bell once.if we had not been so tired form our journey we would have left immediately and found alternative accomodation.

Excellent location for transport and canal bus links. rooms clean and beds very comfortable.
Stairs were very steep and lift was not working on day of arrival and had to carry cases up 3 flights of stairs, the owner stood at the bottom and did not offer to assist. however only one person fell down them !!! breakfast was ok but only thing hot was a boiled egg and cup of tea.

Friendly, comfortable, good breaky.
Not necessarily negative, more a warning: the staircase is more like a ladder, very steep and very narrow.

It is located in a quiet area in amsterdam, i liked it. lovely breakfast.
Some problems to use the wireless network, it is included in the fare, but it does not work very well.
