Museumplein Amsterdam

The Museumplein (or Museum Square) is a luxuriant section of Amsterdam that forms a square surrounded by many beautiful museums. This museum quarter is located just south of the Leidseplein and is accessible by bicycle. The Concertgebouw (a concert hall) is also located in the square. Because of the numerous attractions, the Museumplein has become a favorite spot for tourists and locals alike. The Stedelijk Museum (or the Municipal Museum) is a modern art museum that is located on the Museumplein.
