Fantastic location for anyone visiting amsterdam and wanting to be "close to the action". on quiet street, yet just a block from popular square and museums, etc.
Website says "wired internet" comes with the room; really, it's an extra cost.Anonymous

We were very impressed by the reception staff at the hotel. they were patient and polite at all times. the hotel is in an excellent location. the rooms were cleaned daily and supplies of coffee etc replenished. although the bar was small it had a cosy, charming atmosphere. Nothing negativeSmith

The rooms were clean and sapcious. bathroom was clean, but a little bit on the small side. reception staff were friendly at all times. breakfast was good, with a choice of cereals, breads, cheese, meat and jams. the hotel locations was great, as it was close enough to the city and the attractions, but as it was off the main road it was nice and quiet. in all, it's a great hotel to stay at. can't be bad as it's the second time we have stayed at this hotel.If only to be picky, the decor is a little dated, but that's the only negative i have about this hotel.Anonymous

First time in amsterdam and this hotel was in a great location with a friendly staff who spoke english. room was nice, enjoyed the breakfast everyday and we would stay again.The only negative is that the internet service provided was expensive and extremely slow, i could not access my email.Anonymous

Excellent location, quiet and spacious room and friendly well informed staff. so nice to cross the road from the busy leidse square and step into a calm and quiet place. it was much better than i expected. very good breakfast and overall a great hotel at which to stay in amsterdam for 90 euro a night.Anonymous

The hotel in general was excellent. room size- very spacious, storage space very good, spotlessly clean. we always had breakfast in the front room away from the buffet. this was great, always ample room and a nice pleasant view of the street. the main breakfast room was a bit crowded so it was good to have the choice of breakfast rooms.Although the room and hotel was quiet from within, every morning at about 7:00am the street cleaner would arrive. why did he go around the block cleaning the same stretch of street 4 or 5 time each day? irritating!!
computer station was out of order. irritating. better to have no computer station than to have one that does not work.Anonymous

Location is excellent, quite street off busy thorough fair. we informed hotel we were arriving at 10am and they had a room ready & waiting for us when we arrived.They didn't have a large supply of glasses & cups in the breakfast room. certain food items cleared very early and weren't replenished.Anonymous
