Amsterdam is best viewed from the water and with the canals right on your doorstep, there is no excuse not to hire a boat or take a cruise. Walking around this area you will be amazed by the stunning canal houses, many of which have been extremely well preserved, including The Museum Van Loon, which provides a fascinating glimpse into how wealthy Dutch merchants lived during the Dutch Golden Age. The Amsterdam Historical Museum is also located close to the apartment and is ideal for those interested in local history. The apartment is in a stunning location, with many of the city’s sights and attractions reachable on foot. For those places further afield, the apartment is well serviced by public transport.
