How to reach the Mallemoolen Hotel?1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. A train ticket costs approximately 4 Euros and the journey takes about 20 minutes. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2). You can also take a taxi for about 40 Euros which will bring you to the hotel within 20 minutes.
2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You don't need to take a tram as you can walk to the hotel in approximately 2 minutes. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

This hotel is in a great location and is very reasonably priced the staff are friendly and helpful we were a group of single lads and had a great time Burke

We had our room upgraded at no extra charge, the room was cleaned every day beds made and fresh towels, staff were always helpful and friendly, breakfast included was good aswellThe room was quite warm with no way of keeping open the heavy sliding windows than using the bin to prop it open, would have made it easy to on line check on our return flight home if a printer was available with the hotel computerAnonymous

Molto vicino al centro e alla vita notturna di amsterdam. staff competente, gentile e cordiale. camera pulita ogni giorno.L'unico neo sono le scale: se siete all'ultimo piano ci sono tre belle rampe da fare, ovviamente moooltoo anguste in pieno style amsterdam.Anonymous

This hotel is perfect for young backpackers who will not be spending much time in their room during their visit. it is close in distance to get from place to place by walking.Our group included our elderly mother and we were aware there would be stairs but never expected them to be like climbing narrow extremely steep steps similar to an attic, and this had to be done for four floors. bathrooms and showers were not very inviting.Anonymous

Excellent location only 2 minutes walk from central station. room was clean and big enough for a group of 4. the reception staff are friendly and well informed. there is no curfew. you can leave your luggage in storage for free after checking out on your last day. breakfast is included in the price and included cheese and meats, cereal, bread, coffee and juices. a toaster would make breakfast just perfect though. i've stayed a few times solo at this hotel for the last couple of years in rooms 1 and 2. its noisy being on the front of the warmoesstraat but the windows open wide and you can soak up the atmosphere while people watching. just brilliant. for groups and solo travellers looking for something on the edge of the red light and on the doorstep af a lot of coffeeshops, so close to the station is just perfect. for mature travellers and couples the koopermoolen hotel next door has a lift and no shared facilities.You are sharing toilet and shower is the only negative if you are not used to not having one in your own hotel room, but even this isnt too bad as they are regularly cleaned and if you think about it your toilet and shower at home usually are not in the bedroom. The location was amazing! fantastic just to pop out and visit a coffeeshop or the rld. and the reception is always open. we were lucky enough to have our own ensuite on the top floor which made everything a lot easier.Some of you may not be too keen on the crazy steep stairs, but otherwise it's great!
