The houseboat has managed to keep many of its original features and is both charming and homely. The living space is bright and features wooden floors and is furnished with a double sofa-bed, a coffee table, a dining table with seating for four and a flatscreen television. The kitchen opens onto the living space and is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals in the apartment, including an oven, hob, a microwave, a grill, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a toaster and a coffee machine.
The bedroom features a double bed and authentic portholes. The bathroom has a washbasin, shower, bath and toilet. The area is relaxed and quieter that the centre of the city, however it is well serviced by public transport meaning all the sights and attractions of central Amsterdam are just 10 minutes away by tram. Here you can see the canal belt and Dam Square and all of the other attractions the city is famous for.
