The houseboat has managed to keep many of its original features and is both charming and homely. The living space is bright and features wooden floors and is furnished with a sofa bed, coffee table, dining table with seating for four and a television. The kitchen opens onto the living space and is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals in the houseboat.

The bedroom features a double bed and authentic portholes. The bathroom has a sink, shower, bath and toilet. Best of the all the houseboat features a stunning deck perfect for enjoying breakfast in the morning or dinner and a glass of wine in the evening. This houseboat is moored at the Entrepotdok in the Plantage district, a mostly residential area with great old warehouses and stunning buildings. The houseboat is just a short distance from Artis Zoo, one of the oldest zoos in Europe. The IJ Brewery, a local Amsterdam microbrewery is situated not far from the apartment and is worth visiting if you have an interest in beer or Windmills as the brewery is situated next to De Gooyer, one of the few windmills left in Amsterdam. The area is relaxed and quieter that the centre of the city, however it is well serviced by public transport meaning all the sights and attractions of central Amsterdam are just 10 minutes away by tram. Here you can see the canal belt and Dam Square and all of the other attractions the city is famous for.
