Lovely big rooms with a great view of amsterdam & the amstel river
We asked for a cot when booking & also by email a week before we arrived at the hotel. the cot was not in the room when we checked in, and it took over 1hour for them to 'find' a cot. our son was beside himself & extremely overtired by the time the cot finally arrived, the duty manager then gave us just under 1 night for free (we still had to pay vat & tax). the cot was also faulty (missing a screw on one leg), this was reported but nothing whatsoever was done about it.

Clean, comfortable, helpful staff
We found the food at the breakfast buffet that was suppose to be hot was cold. had difficult finding someone to seat us and then had difficulty getting us our coffee and tea - which we could not get ourselves. after 3 mornings and finding that nothing was improved, in fact the one thing that we enjoyed, the omlet was no longer being offered, trying at different times of the morning - decided that it was not worth the price of the breakfast and went elsewhere. before the end of our stay, we tried one more time and found it just as poor and less of a selection.
