Located right in the city centre, Hotel Mercure Amsterdam Arthur Frommer is next to the Prinsengracht, only two canals away from the bustling 'Rembrandtsplein' and two bridges away from another exhilarating entertainment area, the 'Leidseplein'. Shops, restaurants, Holland’s national art gallery devoted to the modern Dutch master Vincent van Gogh, and the Rijksmuseum are also within walking distance. The hotel is build around a private courtyard and the interior design is a pleasant combination of the past and present. In the sixties, Mr. Arthur Frommer turned the historic premises of the Weavers’ Guild into what is now the Hotel Mercure Amsterdam Arthur Frommer. Furthermore the hotel has a cosy bar, a breakfast restaurant and limited (paid) parking facilities.
