close walking distance to central train station and centre of city.
hotel staff allowed us to store our suit cases in the hotel on the morning we returned from the baltic cruise until the afternoon we got pick up by airport shuttle.

Pros: We were upgraded to a junior suit. hotel was modern, clean and well decorated.
Cons: Beds uncomfortable, two single duvets for a king size bed. one member of staff refused to complete a very simple request although most staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pros: The hotel is in the most excellent position and was ideal for site seeing. the room was of a good standard and little touches like complimentary mineral water, dressing gown and slippers made the differece. the breakfast was plentiful and varied and we enjoyed using the executive lounge. for us the updgrade to executive room was worthwhile, espcailly the view from the 20th floor. the hotel staff were helpful, attentive and eager to please. a special mention to the staff at the silk bar as nothing was too much trouble. overall an excellent experience and we would stay again on future trips to amsterdam & would recommend to family & friends.
