Great location. just outside central amsterdam. we had a nice view looking over the canal. rooms were quite clean.
Not much to the breakfast.. mainly ham slices and bread. very small tv in our rooms.McGee

Staff were friendly and let us leave our bags with them after check out.My room was tiny, and in basement with no view. 3 nights cost e280 with city tax which wasnt originally quoted. breakfast was very poor.Marsolais

The continental breakfast was very good a good choice of everything that such a meal offers. area a bit cramped at timesThe staff at reception very cold. we had a room at the back and the street being us was very loud, keeping us awake most of the night. at first it was loud then it was shouting then it was the sirens from both the police and the ambulance by 5.00am we were able to get back to sleep, when we asked for a room facing the canal and i guest a bit more civilize we were told that the rate we paid for did not entitle us to such a room.......that was a saturday night sunday was a bit better but only a bit. there were rats or mouses in the ceiling we could ear them crunching away.

The location of the hotel was excellent, within walking distance of public transport links and major attractions. it couldn't be more convenient for my needs, especially as i had limited time in amsterdam.My room was situated on the basement floor. the room was small, dingy but functional however it was situated next to a noisy staircase. i also heard a lot of noise from the room above.white

Location excellent. breakfast quite good - fresh bread, fruit cheese and meats.Room far too hot - got bitten by mosquitoes - had to leave window open. cramped space and needed decorating. food smells from owners cooking and eating fried prawns in lobby area could be smelled in room.Anonymous

the interior lacks the charm of the exterior.
the staff is not friendly and came up with a nice surprise at check-in: there was no room for us (we booked the room 2 months before!) When we arrived at the hotel at 9.30pm, we have been told by the hotel management, that since there was a problem with our room, there was no room available for us. and since it was a long weekend, they could not find a room in amsterdam!
we had to argue with them for 20 minutes, until they managed to give us another room in their hotel. not a pleasant experience! chakkalakkal abdulla

The rooms are not small, overall look is very nice, lcd tv.
one of the fewer hotels that after you open the closet there isn't a bad smell.Breakfast could be better, all the week there were the same food (eggs, tea, 1 cheese and salami).Anonymous
