"Value For Money Hotel"

Had a one night stay at this hotel in Jan 2013. The room was clean & tidy and the facilities acceptable. Breakfast was ok & value for money.Ideally situated opposite the Central Railway Station.I would stay here again.

"Great location"

This hotel was in an excellent location right by all transportation. We had a quad room which was smaller than expected. The beds were very comfortable but the room was excessively hot and stuffy with no natural airflow. The breakfast was average but adequate. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was centraly located ,clean and comfortable , only a short walk from most places of interest. However even though some of the the staff were pleasant they were totaly unhelpfull and stood and watched us struggle up the steps with a wheelchair . The breakfast unfortunately was awful, greasy bacon and dried up green scrambled egg. so wouldent recomend that....the room was nicely laid out though and had everything you needed ...i wouldent stay here again though due to the unfriendliness of the staff.......

Pros: We were given a room on the third floor, but the lift only goes to the second floor. we both have mobility issues. the staff were very helpful and changed our room to one on the first floor. i could not praise the staff highly enough - they were very helpful and friendly.

Pros: Hotel was spot on, unfortunately one of our group was pick pocketed on the first night so we sepent the rest of the holiday in our room which was to an high standard
Cons: Only problem is that it was right in the city center and found food and drink prices more expensive than outside the center

Pros: It was very convenient to the railway station and the old city. it was very clean and offered a great breakfast.
Cons: It was unfortunate that the hotel (and not the surrounding buildings) experienced a delayed power outage while we were there. the power was out for approx. 4 hours. the clerk explained to us, however, that the fault was not that of the multatuli hotel - it was the "city's" problem.

"Breakfast was excellent"

Pros: Breakfast was excellent. staff could speak english
Cons: Wifi cost 10 euros for 24hrs. was quite poor and only allowed 1 person to use. tv's in room were old portable crt, no lcd or led tv. this is the 21st century. windows in room had no catches on them, they just swung right out and had to reach to pull back to close. very dangerous could fall out especially if children in room.

Cons: Room far too small for two people,bed tiny and uncomfortable.reception staff were surly .others fine but lack of english made communication difficult.

Super good breakfast
