Pros: Friendly staff, lovely rooms, loction across the road from trams and buses and practically round the corner from van gogh musuem
Cons: Walls are not very soundproof

Pros: Excellent value hotel , very clean, helpfull staff in a nice location with a bus stop across the road if you don't fancy walking for 30min's into the centre.
Cons: We did,nt try the breakfast for 13euro as it did'nt look very fresh

 "The reception staff veronique and another young lady whose name starts with..."
Pros: The reception staff veronique and another young lady whose name starts with an m were were helpful and friendly. the other receptionists on duty were also ever-ready to help with our queries like where to take the direct bus to the airport etc.
Cons: It was a very pleasant stay. perhaps, a kettle for each room would be nice....especially since my friend had pulled a ligament & could not go down for a hot drink....because of the pain.

Pros: Staff helpful with problems
Cons: Dreadful room, number 20 - just off reception, could hear person at desk, and someone filling cupboard at 3am. asked to move that night but no rooms available. showed us an alternative room next day, but twin beds, so didn't want. however, did find us a better room in their sister hotel, so they moved us there during the day. other room better, but wouldn't have chosen it overall as further out.

Pros: Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.rooms cheery, modern and because they weren't flashy you could feel at home.unusual touches were good like the tree trunk bedside tables and the forest mural behind the bed, quirky lighting etc all made talking points. good value for money. we didn't bother with breakfast which seemed expensive for what was offered. we went across the road to the lovely concert hall for a great breakfast for 2/3 of the hotel price.
Cons: None. would go again and would recommend it to others who like to get what you pay for and a bit more.

Pros: Very spacious and clean room with wide comfortable bed. huge windows, temperature in room and bathroom easy to adjust. staff is very efficient and helpful. nice breakfast, too.
Cons: Nothing important: hand soap was empty. not so handy but just used the one at the shower during my short stay.

Cons: They gave us a room just behind or next to reception which didnt let us sleep at all! from 7 in the morning we could hear the friendly receptionist speaking and people checking out. leaving us with absolutely no rest and more tired then when we went to bed.

Pros: The general impression we have of the hotel is great! the room was excellent with their hipper super comfortable beds, the staff super helpful and in spite of not being in the city center, it was pretty close, so i think this was the best choice of hotel we could ever made, and if ever returned to amsterdam, ii will be our choice.

Pros: Very comfortable hotel. staff were extremely friendly and helpful. location excellent for museums and concert hall. very good restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: Breakfast is expensive and not too easy to get within walking distance of the hotel. information on website was not entirely accurate. we were banking on tea/coffee making facilities being available. they were not!

Pros: The staff were well informed about our requirements even before we checked in accomodated all our requests at no extra cost. they helped us with flight check in and ensured we had a good stay at the hotel. the room was quite well lighted and spacious. very generous with the coffee and tea supplies. in general we felt quite at home with the environment and the staff.
