Amsterdam’s museum Our Lord in the Attic is one of the city’s oldest museums and situated in a 17th century canal house. This beautiful house is open to visitors and is still is its original condition. The museum contains fully refurbished rooms, canvases, church silver and sculptures.

The best part of the museum however is the secret church, hidden in the attic of the house. It was built during the Reformation, when Catholics were not allowed to hold public services. The church contains seating for 150 people and is filled with paintings and sculptures.
