If you love the Dutch masters the Rijksmuseum has to be on your list of places to visit. Featuring over 400 works of the masters from the Golden Age in surprising combinations in one wing alone. Come prepared to spend a full day viewing the masterworks on exhibition as well as interacting with the special exhibits in a venue that is nearing the end of a major renovation and modernization effort. Featuring doll houses, Delftware, a wealth of silver, icons of Dutch history and of course the paintings by the great masters of the 17th century the Rijksmuseum is open every day except January 1st.
