Pros: Hotel reception line is really long but hotel staff is quite friendly when there is no customer waiting around.
Cons: Room is small for the price we paid, and the room is not so clean. can see dust clearly everywhere.

Pros: Excellent location for museums, canal boats and dining/shopping. public transportation very easy with tram and bus lines right in front of the hotel. surprisingly quiet at night. great breakfast buffet. didn't eat at the sogna which is the italian restaurant in the hotel but did order food at the bar and it was wonderful. not "pub grub" but gourmet food. very friendly staff and helpful with booking our tour to the kuekenhof gardens and getting our shuttle back to the airport. we found it most convenient and not that expensive to order a round trip airport shuttle on the conexxion line and not attempt multiple forms of transportation which gets you to the train station and then tram or bus from there to the hotel. all and all, we were very pleased with our stay at this hotel and would stay here again
Cons: This might seem minor but we found the chairs in the lobby/bar eating area uncomfortable and the chairs in the room also a bit stiff. we did lots of walking and comfortable seating is important after a long day of sightseeing. besides this - one other thing - on a few occasions my husband needed change for paper euros so he could use the cigarette machine in the lobby but the main desk and the bar did not have the change. this was a bit frustrating for him.

Pros: I found the hotel room to very clean and it was nice that i was able to smoke in the hotel room. i requested that i had a quiet room as i heard previous guest complaine about the noise, and they gave us a room on the 3rd floor to the side of the hotel.it was a greta location and very easy to find.
Cons: I think the internet cost is overpriced, the free wifi did not wok for us and the cost of the room was overpriced. a memeber of staff i found to be quite unhelpful and did not seem to know what was going on when asked questions.the outside does look abit decieving as i thought it looked like a block of flat, but as soon as i walked in things changed.

Pros: First impressions were good, hotel is in a good location.
Cons: Staff members were not helpful on checkout. i waited close to 30 minutes for taxi to arrive "which front desk had supposedly called" and was supposed to arrive in 5-10 mins. hotel prices are exorbitant, the rooms were small and definitely not value for money.i was not impressed by the additional charges e.g "city taxes" added on to the bill which i was not informed about previously. for the money paid, i got nothing but a bedroom since breakfast was an additional charge, wi-fi additional charge, in fact i left wondering what i had actually paid for?!!!!

Pros: Staff were pleasant, the hotel rooms were well equiped and clean on arrival. really nice atmosphere and would definitely stay there again. hotel room had a lovely view.
Cons: A little bit expensive with breakfast at €19! out room was a bit small however the friends i stayed with had a good room size.

Pros: We have made a mistake on our reservation and one of the hotel reciption stuff (joyce)was so kind and help us fix our reservation quickly and nicely.other than that the stuff was very nice.

Cons: Not enough staff - had to wait each time we stopped by the desk with a question. usually only one person on duty.
no concierge; no bellhop staff.
no place to unload your car when checking in or out. we had to block a lane in the street to unload.
rooms were air conditioned, but it was not sufficient. we complained every day about the air, and once a staff person visited the room, but nothing was done.

Pros: The hotel was in great location for low cost but very good dining within walking distance & great location for access to trams to all tourist attractions. e.g. the zoo (10 mins.)

Pros: Nice location for leidseplein area. superior room we had was nice looking, t.v could have been bigger with more channels.
