Pros: The hotel looks so much better since i last stayed, rooms have been redesigned, new furnishings and wooden floors, much brighter and cleaner feel.
i look forward to returning.
Cons: Do not disturb door signs are ignored by housekeeping staff, this has been the same for the last 5 visits. most annoying

 "The hotel on a whole was really good, and clean"
Pros: The hotel on a whole was really good, and clean. staff pleasant and very helpful. shuttle bus was essential.
Cons: On website says hotel 2km from central station, we felt this was wrong information as hotel was more by road. if we never looked at hotel feed back we would never had known about the shuttle bus, and if it was our first time in amsterdam we would never have found the shuttle bus pick-up point.helpful to put about the shuttle bus on your web site.

Pros: The room was very clean , spacious and bright. i really liked the comlipentary tolitries and all the other little extras! the hotel bar had anice atmosphere and the barman was very friendly, also happy hour meant that we got 50% off our drinks! overall the hotel was a pleasure to stay in.
Cons: The location was only a problem when the shuttle bus was full or running late however in my experience the dutch people are very laid back and don't rush so i wasn't suprised when this applied to the shuttle bus service.

Pros: It is in a quiet location. breakfast was well catered for in pleasant surroundings.
Cons: Confusion with shuttle bus left us waiting at nh barbizon for nearly an hour to be picked up. smoking in areas where food is served.
