How to reach the NH Doelen Hotel? How to reach the NH Doelen Hotel?
1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).

2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You can take tram nr. 9, 16 or 24 from the square in front of the station to Spui/Rokin. From there you can walk to the hotel in approximately 3 minutes. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

This comment relates to the easytobook site, not the nh doelen hotel - the site asks how many people are staying and how many rooms required but at no point asks if 2 travellers would like a double room or a twin room!!! seems a fundamental question to ask! website should be amended to add this.

Easy to book told the hotel i wanted a single room so when we arrived, and they didnt have any more rooms available, the immediately called thier sister hotel which was a 5 star and paid for a taxi to take us there free of charge. we didnt even see the rooms in the doelen as we stayed in the palace balbizon.

Excellenty hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, quality decor etc. and facilities, excellent breakfast. fantastic location, central to all city centre attractions. the fact we could check-out the room on the sunday at 5 pm for no extra fee made a big diffrence to the trip.
