This 5-star hotel enjoys a perfect location on Dam Square, in the heart of Amsterdam’s characteristic old city centre. Trend-setting shopping streets are just around the corner as well as cultural tourist attractions such as the Royal Palace, "Beurs van Berlage" and the "Nieuwe Kerk".

Amsterdam Central Station is only 7 minutes away on foot, and it is only a half-hour journey from there to Schiphol Airport. A shuttle bus to Schiphol Airport is at your disposal, departing every 30 minutes from 5 o’clock in the morning to 8 o’clock in the evening. The hotel also has its own landing dock for boats.

1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).

2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You don't have to take the tram as you can walk to the hotel in approximately 5 minutes. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

The mini bar was totally overpriced and charged even if u lifted something and put it back. our bill at the end of our stay was ridiculous.

The location was fantastic
I was very dissapointed with being double charged for the room it caused alot of problems with other trips i have organised as the money was not available for the other vacations i have planned. i am unsure wether to blame nh hotels or easy book but will not use these services in the future as i do not wish to have these difficulties in the future.

This is an excellent hotel that lived up to its reputation,the location is fantastic,the staff was very helpful beyond respecteful,it has older classic feeling melting in modern features,rooms are spacious all in all its a bit pricy but worth every penny:))

Loud music till early hours of the morning due to a concert, long wait for broken facillities to be looked at in the room, no apology for wait, when inconveniance was raised with hotel staff no action was taken. some hotel staff very rude.

Pleasant staff, we got there very early but decided to try checking in, they were happy for us to do this and kept our luggage. they said we could try our room from noon, we checked back at 12.30 and our room was ready. our room was very large and comfortable. again on the day of check out they kept our luggage for us as we didn't have to leave amsterdam till the evening. we didn't eat in as there was so much going on in the area we wanted to get out and try as much as possible. brilliant location... actually perfect. we walked to anne franks house and many museums, in fact we walked everywhere... great, will definatly go back.

Great location. the room from the room facing dam square was very nice.
They did not have the room type we booked on their system but they did change it to what was boooked. hotel needs upgrading and room was run down but clean. breakfast very expensive for limited selection but the restaurant itself was very nice. i asked for my hotel bill 3 times before it was delivered to my room. staff and appearence is not a 5 star caliber.

Location of the hotel is very very good. the staff is friendly and helpful. they upgraded us to an appartment and it was wonderful. it contained everything from a nespresso machine to a vacuum cleaner. had a wonderful time. strongly recommend it to everyone.
