The recently built NH Museum Quarter, close to the Museumplein, is surrounded by art. The beautiful contrast of classical buildings and the direct proximity of the historic centre of Amsterdam make it a magnificent location. The hotel is easily accessible by car and public transport. A shuttle service carries guests to and from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

How to reach the NH Museum Quarter? How to reach the NH Museum Quarter?

From Schiphol Airport, by shuttle: A paid KLM shuttle service leaves every half an hour from the airport and vice versa. The bus stops in front of the hotel.

From Schiphol Airport, by train: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to the next step).

From Central Station, by tram: You can take tram nr. 16 or 24 from the square in front of the station and get off at 'Ruysdaelstraat'. From there you can walk to the hotel in approximately 1 minute. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

From Schiphol Airport/Central Station, By taxi: A taxi from the airport will cost approximately EURO 30.00 and from Amsterdam Central Station is will cost around EUR 10.00.

Superbly located for visiting amsterdam's main museums, the heineken experience & nightlife at the leidseplein
Not directly with the hotel, but the airport transfer coach booked for us by the hotel reception desk did not turn up

The hotel was truly great for the price it offered. it was within walking distance of the major shopping areas and museums and also near a tram stop. room was great with a nice view of the canal. staff were very friendly.
For a four star hotel it is quite a shame that it does not provide free wireless internet in the room. charging around 6 euro for an hour of wireless internet really should not be necessary.

A very nice hotel, with spacious, comfortable rooms, in a good location. 15 min walk to the centre or tram stop nearby. would highly recommend

We were given a superior room even though we booked a standard room. our room was very large, well equipped, and quiet.
The mattress was worn out and far too soft. i weigh 53 kg's, and kept on sliding into the well formed by previous heavier guests. my husband had the same experience. on complaining, the staff said they'd see what they could do, but didn't do anything. as it was our last night, we left it at there.

Once in a clean room, a great hotel.
The night staff were not very helpful when i arrived late and the room was not at all clean. also cost of wifi and breakfast very expensive.

On arrival, this hotel had overbooked so they put us in a hotel in the group more downtown.
Only that we found that we were moved after a long journey. ,however staff were very good, put us into a free cab and we were nearer town -and at a five star hotel!!

The hotel staff was excellent. i stayed there with my husband and two children (3 and 1 years old). although they don't bill themselves as a family oriented hotel, they were attentive to our every need. they had stuff bears for the kids and activity books for them to enjoy while i ate breakfast. i would truly recommend this hotel to family and friends. they went out of their way to get cribs for both of my kids. it was also very economical, even though i made my reservations less than two weeks before arriving.
My daughter equates staying in a hotel with going to the pool, they didn't have one. the other negative aspect of our stay was getting transportation back to the airport. we asked the front desk to call us a cab that could accomodate 2 large suitcases, double stroller and 4 people, they called a shuttle service (not connexion) that took longer to get there and was more expensive than the taxi.

Was very pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and bathroom. the space was more than ample and had plenty of light (seventh floor); the bed was very comfortable and i enjoyed the little touches like the quotes on the mirror and elevator doors.

The bathroom was clean and stocked with good toiletries. our room as spacious and airy
we had to phone reception one night as there was a party we could hear from somewhere that was noisy. although sympathetic, they could not trace the source. none of the hotel informtion services prpovided through the tv worked also the chambermaid disturbed us on two mornings as she had no way of knowing if we were still asleep.

Hotel serviced by very helpful, excellent staff. good location for accessing amsterdam culture.
Disappointed that a superior room (714) had what appeared to be a red wine stain on the carpet. assessment for cleanliness would have otherwise been excellent.
