Pros: Nice short stay at this hotel. staff very friendly and let us check in early. very helpful even when we arrived back after midnight. room was a good size and bathroom facilities were good. plenty of storage and a useful safe.

Pros: Location is good - good connections to public transport even during the night - nightbus! park behind the hotel. nice terrace in front of the hotel! close to slavery museum and monument (ninsee and oosterpark) and tropen museum and other attractions.

Cons: Yes, when we arrived, the hotel was overbooked despite we booked, confirmed and paid in advance. so, we lost a lot of time, until they found an alternative room, far away from the city what meant we had to take a cab/taxi to and back from the city. in addition the reception didn't understand the booking form and told the other hotel that we have to pay again, only the next morning when some more professional staff were working at the reception the mistake could be solved. it's just annoying if one has only one weekend to loose time and money like this.

Pros: The room and general presentation of the hotel was excellent. it is quite a long (but just about manageable) walk from the entertainment centre of amsterdam, but also has tram and night bus links that take you right outside the hotel.
Cons: It was quite pricey but being so close to the city centre it is well worth the cost.

Pros: The hotel was great and value for money. great variety with the breakfast. tropen museum was just next door and there's a tram just outside the hotel. you can even walk 20 minutes to the amsterdam centraal

Pros: Hotel was in a good location. 15- 20 minutes walk to the centre. tram and bus stop just outside. all round v good and would stay there again.

Pros: The room was very clean and the staff were always friendly. the breakfast was good although a little pricey. convenient for public transport but is also only a 20 minute liesurely stroll into the heart of amsterdam. a laundry room is available to guests for 5eur wash and dry.

Pros: The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the housekeeeper who brought the extra bed was very friendly and sweet with our daughter. location is an easy tram ride into the centre.

Cons: Old fashion - building,lobby, dinning room, rooms. unconvinient room: location of all things in the room are very strange and, according to our imagination,not true. very unconvinient are separate shower and toilet(we think that it is not so difficult to change this situation). general imagination: all project - building and rooms - is very strange.
