Pros: Great location and staff welcoming and friendly.very helpful in suggesting things to do and see. small quiet boutique style hotel with very clean rooms, a small simple breakfast room with continental breakfast offer. peaceful location by canal in quiet location a short walk to elegant cafes and restaurants.
Cons: No restaurant or bar offers other than breakfast may affect some guests. the staircase is quirky but could be an issue for some as it is so steep.

Pros: Nl hotel was extremely clean and modern. the room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. the staff were lovely, very polite and helpful.
Cons: The shower did not have a screen so the floor often ended up soaking wet. this was not a negative of the hotel for us however we were worried the staff would get annoyed having to clean up the water everyday.

Pros: Very lovely room nice and clean and intimate atmosphere
Cons: I went to reception to buy some water at 7.15am and the lady would not serve me. 30 mins later i went down again and all she had to do was walk for 10 seconds to the fridge that was in the same room to get the water. i was appalled by that service as the cost of my room was 320euro for 2 nights. this waas totally unacceptable behaviour and she failed to realise that i am a paying guest. the welcome pack stated that the reception area is open from 7.00am to 9.00om and you can purchase soft drinks at that time.

Pros: The room was clean, if a little on the small side. the location is good, although it is a little way out from the main square, its an ideal place to explore amsterdams canals and parks.

Pros: The hotel was very nice for the price i paid. i was looking for a real amsterdam experience and this was it. i usually travel in more traditional "business" type hotels and wantd to experience the lcoal charm. this hotel was exactly what i had expected.

Pros: This hotel was amazing. i arrived in amsterdam at 9am and even though the check-in wasn't until 2pm, they hotel was able to admit me at 9am (as there was a room free) and they didn't charge me extra.
room was extremely clean, the bed was super comfortable and the washroom was great.
staff was very friendly and helpful. i felt very safe there being a single female traveller.
location of the hotel was fantastic - close to everything and very easy to get to from the main train station.
i will definitely be staying there again.

Pros: Helpful staff and good location. was offered choice of room on arrival and opportunity to look at both.
Cons: Limited breakfast selection, although the limited choices are of good quality. small rooms in basement that are quite claustrophobic. only frosted glass partitions on bathroom door that gives limited privacy. shower not great. no staff in the hotel at night. no tea making facilities in rooms.
