The location is excellent right on the main road and 2 minutes away from central station
This was not a room but a closet. the toilet seat had to be manually held up and i got bitten by bedbugs all through the night!Anonymous

We were firstly sent to a terrible room at the top of building a which had a window which didn't shut and no en suite. however, after asking we were moved to a much better room in building b with en suite.kearney

Very close to everything.If they give you the key of room 208 hand it back and say no thanks, i stayed in oct 09 and the room is so noisy and if you open you blind everyone in the whole place can see you and the tv didnt work i told the old man behind the counter he said he would get it fixed the next day but id say he forgot his name to mins later. if you can get a hotel on the same street so for it cos the location was the best the hotel was just a kip.Anonymous

We had a good room watching over a nice area, the location is almost perfect, the staff is helpful, the manager has a fetish for chinese women..(you'll see when you get there)The shower is either cold or burning hot, you can't smoke in the room , the stairs are as steep as a ladder, its hard moving your luggage around, rooms are very small, and sometimes you hear people from a certain room singing songs loudlyAnonymous

Worth the price for amsterdam, location is very central, rooms regularly cleaned, beds ok. but expect usual drawbacks of such class places in amsterdam: noise from outside and paper-thin walls, very small rooms and tiny bathroom, noisy neighbours. i.e. it is nothing more than a ok place to crash after heavy partying.Anonymous

Bedding was clean and fresh, bed was also comfortable. nice central location. Rooms were tiny no room to swing a cat as they say, stairs were dangerous, being a health and safety expert in the uk i do not know how the hotel ever managed to get a fire certificate as it would never pass uk regulations. noise could be heard all night long as it is on main street, also huge light advertising beer was outside our window which lit up the room constantly.doherty

The location is brilliant, easy walking distance to absolutly anything.The curtains in the room had brown stains which looked like ciggeret smoke but we stayed in a non smoking room so that was a little odd and dirty. the bed sheets were clean.Anonymous

The only good thing about the room was the paintings on the ceiling! other than that room was pants althogh it didnt affect our stay in amsterdam! Room was pritty dull. we had a 5 bedroom and thats all tat was in it, no tv and phone didnt work! and my mate had 50 euros taken from his bag?
