Staying in the park plaza hotel was a wonderful experience,location to central station and all the attractions was fantastic. the staff were wonderful and were extremely helpful. was expecting the bar to be a real rip off but being from dublin we are used to high prices and we were presently surprised that we could afford to drink in the lovely comfortable barAbsolutely nothing negative about this hotelSmith

On leaving [i think the woman’s name was ine?] i was told that a customer had left behind tickets for the train to schipol and would i like one. this small gesture impressed me greatly, the lady in question at the desk early on sunday morning, was very calm and good humoured. thank you. I was surprised to see that the swimming pool only opened at 10:00 on some days… we had to leave the hotel every day at 8:00 so missed out on using the facilities.
also €22 for breakfast… is just too much… we paid less than that for dinner most evenings. we did however use the front cafe instead, which was ok.
apparently all your ‘standard’ room are actually ‘superior’ rooms… this is deliberately misleading to customers when booking. make things clear and therefore not disappointing. Maitre Orchin

I have stayed in amsterdam several times and this was definately the best stay yet. the location is perfect. the concierge was very knowledgeable and he recommeded a steak house that offered one of the best meals that i have ever eaten. i would definately book this hotel again!Anonymous

Excellent location and easy to locate/navigate other places. friendly and helpful staff. good quality breakfast.The swimming pool was a disappointment as it was too cold to use. the charge for using the fitness suite on top of paying a high price for an executive suite seemed unfair. most uk hotels with a fitness centre do not charge guests for use of sauna, steam room etc. if a trainer was involved or a beautician we would expect to pay. as it was an october break, the swimmimg pool was a major reason for selecting the hotel but i used it once for about five minutes and my partner did not use it at all but paid 10 euros to use the steam room!Joslin
