The concierge staff were exceptional. in general all the staff were very very good.the hotel's location is ideal.The breakfast experience could be chaotic when busy and needed some structure to it.Cooper

Excellent location and easy to locate/navigate other places. friendly and helpful staff. good quality breakfast.The swimming pool was a disappointment as it was too cold to use. the charge for using the fitness suite on top of paying a high price for an executive suite seemed unfair. most uk hotels with a fitness centre do not charge guests for use of sauna, steam room etc. if a trainer was involved or a beautician we would expect to pay. as it was an october break, the swimmimg pool was a major reason for selecting the hotel but i used it once for about five minutes and my partner did not use it at all but paid 10 euros to use the steam room!Joslin

Excellent hotel in good central location. friendly staff, good food and service, some rooms better than others but you can upgrade if rooms available to a more spacios one as we did.

The location was excellent and the room we had was comfortable, clean and warm.On arrival we had to get a room change as the original room had two single beds and looked into a wall, we requested when booking, a double bed and a cannal view. Taylor-Gregg

My friend and i were glad to have a room (307) with a good view and adequate space. we were happy that the hotel was located so close to the central station and other important signts and places of interest. it was convenient to walk to the hotel after getting off a train directly from the airport. we enjoyed the morning breakfast which provided a good selection of hot and cold food! we were garteful that the hotel gave us a late checkout at 1 pm and left our luggage in a storage room until we left for the airport at 6 pm on the day of departure. the concierge staff were very helpful when we askedd for directions and places of interests to visit. we would be happy to rfeturn to the hotel when we revisit amsterdam and will recommend it to young and old friends whether they are married or not. No, not really. we were glad that we could drink clean water from the tap. this was not the case when we visited some eastern european countries earlier during the trip.Lang

The hotel is in a great location for those staying in or close to dam square/ central station. room clean & tidy. good selection of food at breakfast time. Hotel bar costly. disappointed with leisure facilities, pool a bit small and charges for steam room/sauna. never bothered to use them.Anonymous
