How to reach the Park Plaza Vondelpark,?By public transport, from Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to the next step).
By public transport, from Amsterdam Central Station: You can take tram line 2 from the square in front of the station and get off at tram stop 'Emmastraat/Koningslaan' (13th stop). From there walk along the tram rails and after 200 meters you will find the hotel on your right-hand side. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

Good air conditioning, clean, very helpful staff
My impression from the website was that it was a nicer hotel. i have stayed in other park plazas around the world and they usually have nicer rooms, beds, and nicer facilities. i did not find it a value for the price i paid. i could have stayed at a much nicer place for the same price, the marriot renaissance. the rooms are great and i would have been in the city center. so i found the description of rooms and facilities misleading, therefore my overall experience was a bit sour.Anonymous

The hotel was in a convenient location to the tram lines, price was very good for amsterdam, breakfast was substantial and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. we will definitely stay there again. Anonymous

Very friendly and helpful staff. the location is great - next to the vondel park in a quiet residential area but also very close to museums. it's an easy walk into the centre as well but if your feet are tired, the no.2 tram stops pretty much outside the hotel. it costs about 1 euro 60 into the main shopping area.Anonymous

Front of house staff very efficient. location excellent. bathroom clean and smart.Room not cleaned. orange peel left by bedside for two days. rubbish (small twigs) on floor when we arrived and still there when we left. not hoovered properly.Berard

Had a superior room, even though a bit on the small side, was lovely & tastefully decorated. very clean also.Annoyingly the double bed was 2 singles pushed together, lack of privacy in the room, only had frosted glass btw shower/toilet & bedroom.Gallagher

The room was too small and too dark. the only lighting was above the entrance door and the bathroom area which did not give enough light to teh rest of the room. i could hardly see to dress in teh morning and needed to switch on the tv to give more light to the room. this made the room very unconfortable.porter

We were booked in by a friend, so we have no comment on website. we had an upgraded room, so excellent value for money. The public araes were rather ordinary - and crowded with football fans and marathon runners. we therefore ate out in local cafes, and restaurants.Obelitz
