This part of the city was constructed during the Dutch Golden Age and although the city has undergone a great many changes since then, it is possible to turn back the clock and visit the Golden Age via the beautifully preserved Museum Van Loon. Located in the northern part of the Canal Belt close to Central Station, the apartment benefits from being within walking distance of all the major attractions Amsterdam has to offer such as Dam Square, the Jordaan, Anne Frank House and the Nine Streets shopping district. If you want to see the city via the water, why not hire a boat or take a cruise from close to Central Station, you won’t be disappointed. You will also have no trouble finding a place to eat with numerous bars, cafes and restaurants situated right outside your front door.
