The apartment is located in the bay of the IJ river a few minutes from Central Station making it ideal for those after accommodation right in the heart of Amsterdam with great transport links.

Located on the first floor of a recently renovated traditional Amsterdam building, this apartment has been tastefully decorated throughout with modern furnishings and fixtures. The combined living, dining and kitchen area is bright and accommodating with its high ceilings and large windows. The living room is furnished with a comfortable L-shaped sofa bed, coffee table, flat screen television and dining table that can seat six. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals in the apartment.

The bedroom is beautifully furnished with two single beds, a large mirror above what was charming fireplace, bed side tables with lamps and an armchair. The bathroom is modern with a sink, a combined shower and bath and a toilet.

This apartment is right in the heart of Amsterdam just a few minutes on foot from Amsterdam Central Station. The area around the apartment is currently being developed and it is here you will find some of the biggest innovations to hit the city in the past 100 years, including man made islands that will eventually house thousands of Amsterdammers and entire floating suburbs. Close to the apartment you will find the new Amsterdam library, which must be visited simply for its stunning views over the city from the cafe and the NEMO science museum. At little further afield you can find the IJ Brewery one of the city's finest microbreweries and a great place to enjoy a beer on the weekend. The traditional centre of Amsterdam, Dam square isn't far away and is a must visit on any trip to the city. Other areas of interest within walking distance of the apartment include Rembrandt House where Rembrandt himself lives for many years, Nieuwmarkt Square with De Waag which was originally a gate in the medieval city walls, Waterloo square and the Red light District. With Central Station just a few minutes away it is easy to get out of Amsterdam and see some of the other sites the Netherlands has to offer. This apartment has a fantastic location close to the centre of the city.
