Pros: The hotel was well placed being in a quiet side street near the park and within a couple of minutes walking distance to the main areas of the city. it was clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Cons: The hotel seemed very expensive for fairly basic facilities but all hotels in amsterdam seem excessively priced so i would imagine that it compared reasonably. for the same price in england you would expect a lot more in terms of luxury and facilities. however everything in the city was expensive.

Pros: Very friendly staff and loved the cat! great location and nice being right on the courtyard.
Cons: Our floor- bottom florr- was a bit loud. there were rouwdy english guys staying in the hotel. sounds travel quite far.

Pros: Pleasant enough. first impression of staff at reception wasn't welcoming. a smile would have gone a long way.
Cons: Early flight meant we arrived at the hotel just before noon. would have been nice to be able to check in at midday instead of 2.00pm

Pros: Reception staff very helpful. location very good and room very peacefull and i would stay here again.
Cons: Breakfast room quite cramped especially when hotel full. breakfast staff had to be repeatedly asked for cutlery, coffee etc and many guests gave up.

Pros: Staff was very nice. ocation was great-close to museums, parks and nightlife.
Cons: Romm was very small. there was no air conditioning. price of room was way too much considering these items. stayed in another 10 days earlier that was much fairer priced.

Cons: The cleaner left my room open and as i got home late that night it would have been open for many hours!!!! the response from the night staff was they made a joke of it and laughed, which i found disturbing. the staff the next day were very appologetic.
