How you can get to Rembrandt Classic Hotel
1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes a train runs from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport, go to the central hall; here is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station run from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM.
2) From Amsterdam Central Station: Take tram 1, 2, 5, 13 or 17 and get off at tram stop 'Dam'. You are now at the back of Dam Square, next to Magna Plaza Shopping Centre. Just walk around the corner where you reach the Raadhuisstraat (behind you there is the Royal Palace). Walk straight ahead until the Herengracht. Go to the left (cross the street) and stay at this side of the canal. After the crossing street 'Gasthuismolensteeg' you will find the hotel with the blue marquise. From the tram stop it is only a 5-minute walk to the hotel. The trams in Amsterdam normally run from 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

rooms awfully small
Cons: The check out time was a little lengthy since so many guests were checking out and they were leaving their luggage for later leaving the hotel. but it was very comfortable and convenient.
Cons: Rooms were smelly, no ac and rooms did get hot. rooms had stains on carpets. we had a leak in room, but i dont think it was the first time this happended. however all said i will still go there again and it was the cheapest we could find so close to the attractions.

Cons: No where is there a mention of mr.mrs eves. my husband died of a brain tumour and so i find it very distressing to find how you have addressed the email. i was there with my two daughters, one of whom had been working in the hague. i think an apology to me is in order?
