Perfect location in the heart of amsterdam on a beautiful quiet canal.
All hotels in amsterdam are over priced and very poor value for money. £90 gets you a dirty small room with paper thin walls in amsterdam... who says the uk is expensive!!

Its cheap and close to town. they are only positive things about this dive!
Room only serviced once on a 4 day visit. no towels on arrival. no soap or shower gel in bathroom. have to leave keys at reception everytime you leave. charged an incorrect price on arrival. would only stay again due to low price.

Stayed in feb 09, location is excellent!
Stayed in feb 09, the rooms arn't up to much, maybe if they were considrably cheaper then you could say they were value for money. bit of a dodgy smell in the recpetion area. rooms are very very basic.

Location probably only positive thing.
Rooms were very basic, not clean in places. the room was too expensive for what it was.

Once you find it you realise how close to "everything" you are and just out of the way enough down a quite road from rembrandtsquare. for the people who complained so much about the stairs at the hotel? i stayed in the top floor at the top most room and i got over them, for holland they're they're not bad and to be quite expected.
Bit hard to find the first time you look for it. brekfast isn't worth the 7,50 when they're so many other cafe's/stores/restaurants everywhere around you.
