Stayed in hotel... From 26th to 27th September for bussiness trip. Room wasn't what I expected but for one night is okay I requested doule room but had a twin but that not worried me. Slept well.Excellent staff very helpful..... Good breakfast .... And wi-fi is free :) Location is more than perfect :) if I gonna stay in amsterdam one more time definitely gonna stay there :)

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel, though basic, was in a good location. the breakfast was very good indeed.
Cons: Our bathroom smelt a little and our travelling companions in another room did not have any hot water for the duration of their stay.

Cons: Room was really warm and stuffy despite using the fan provided. a small wall mounted air conditioning unit would have been ideal.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location! across the side street to the tours & tickets office; dam square souvenirs; sidewalk cafes; wax museum; palace, etc. could catch the tram or walk easily to attractions. the morning "desk clerks" were especially helpful.
Cons: Not really, but being american, i would have liked to had had a washcloth; however, i do know these are not provided in most european hotels.
