We stayed in a triple room which was spacious and clean no negatives about the accommodation 
I did find the lighting in the room very inadequate. two side lamps and one wall lamp do not give suitable lighting so much so that it triggered eye strain and lead to me having a migrane. there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which would have been very welcome. if you go down for breakfast too late say after 9am there is not much choice or food left the hotel staff are very slow to replenish it. We have been to amsterdam three times and all our hotel experiences have been excellent but with the rho, where we last stayed, i can honestly say that i will not be doing searches again for another hotel in amsterdam as this one has everything and the location is superb. the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful anytime we had a query. our room was spotless and airy with a working tv with a fridge which was very handy. included in our room rate was breki, which was perfect. a hot buffet plus the usual cereals, breads, cheeses, hams and fruit. great start to our days. i would recommend the rho to any of my friends and we will certainly be going there again.We had no real negative experience at the rho, just to advise that there is no iron in the rooms, there is one available in a lobby off reception but when the receptionist went to show me where it was someone had removed the iron to their room and could'nt be located.
