Hotel Sander is located in a residential area, just three minutes walking distance from the newly built Museum Square and is very close to Amsterdam's three major museums; The Rijks Museum, the Stedelijk Museum and the Van Gogh Museum.
Also the world famous "Concertgebouw" is only a few steps away. The hotel is also located near the Rai Congress Hall and close by the captivating Vondel Park; ideal for jogging, a relaxing walk, or just sitting and basking in the sun. In the weekends, during daytime, the park attraction features Pop (and other) musicians who give free public performances.
Just a short walk from the hotel you will find the Leidseplein, one of Amsterdam's liveliest entertainment spots. There is a wide variety of recreation on offer here, which includes shops, theaters, bars, Europe's largest Casino and many restaurants offering an assortment of food to suit every taste and budget.

Very helpful and friendly hotel staff, nice and clean room, very clean bathroom, beautyful breakfast room and very good breakfast, excellent coffee. very good value for money. i wanted to stay one day longer than booked - no problem :-)

I recommend the sander -the room was small but clean bathroom very clean and staff very helpful internet access superb. breakfast was good and thought it was nice touch to have umbrellas available for guest use!very good value.centrum is very walkable or trams very close.NoAnonymous

Tha staff were very friendly. very experienced in answering questions and making guests comfortable. caring about all the questions i had! I could hear the tv from next door and even snoring which was a bit irritating! i think they can do a better job for room service in temrs of cleaning the room and setting the bedding...Anonymous

Nice large rooms,clean & tidy, good breakfasts.They say they accept credit/debit cards, but they have only an old strip reader not chip and pin. we had difficulty and expense in having to take out enough cash from a dispenser at the last minute as their old machine could not read the strip on our debit card. hill

Good location only minutes away from the museums and laidse plain, tram stop near the hotel. hotel staff was friendly. rooms were clean.Shover drain got stuck the very first day, afterwards the bathroom was fludded every time someone took a shower.Anonymous

Friendly receptionist, clean rooms.Double room was a little bit small - problem if you stay for a longer period than 2-3 days.
