How to reach the Season Star Hotel?From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM .
From Amsterdam Central Station: You don't have take the tram, you can walk to the hotel in approximately 1 minute. Exit the central station from the main exit on the city side (follow the taxi sign). Turn right when you exit and follow the path to leave the station grounds. At the crossing light cross the street and walk straight into the street in front of you. This is " Martelaarsgracht" on the corner is a little bar and just a little down the street you will find the hotel on your right.

The staff were very helpful and polite. great locationn (which is what you are paying for!). had room at back of hotel so it was quiet. bed very comfy and clean and bathroom clean. breakfast was continental, but adequate.
Parts of the hotel are a little worn, such as the carpets which need a very good clean. on arrival there was a very bad smell from the drains, but that might just be amsterdam! it got better after that. there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room as advertised and they charged 2 euros to get one from reception/cafe. very steep stairs so not suitable for elderly / disabled. lift available.manley

Great location with easy access to central station, trams, and ferrys. staff was welcoming and got us checked in very efficiently.Quality and size of the room was poor for the price. the carpets were dirty, the walls were dingy, and there were dirty, stained linens in the armoir. the free breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, thus we ate a restaurant across the street. this hotel certainly does not rate the "three stars" claimed in the advertisement. the stair case going up to the 4 bed room was quite steep and narrow with no safety considerations for small children. we had a wonderful weekend in amsterdam and we likely return but we will most certainly stay at a different hotel.Anonymous

Good location, breakfast included, free computer access to internet. towels and shower gel etc provided.We had a 4 man room on the 4th floor which was tight. room was clean but carpet looked a bit run down and dusty.GRAHAM

The location is fairly close to train station.The website said "air condition" and room did have air condition thermostat which has on/off but it does not have real function. we rented 2 rooms they are the same. very humid during the night with tiny window way up opened and a small fan just does not work. we could not sleep well at all.
they really should not advertise "air" if it is not real.
tv has no remote and it is hung from the wall. you can have remote but put $10 deposit.Wokan

The hotel is excellently located in the neighbourhood of the central train station and within walking distance of many interesting places like the dam square. the staff are also very hospitable.The window to my room on the ground floor opened right onto a staircase, so i had to keep it closed in the night. i think the hotel is a little overpriced.judith kirkham

Really nice breakfast, stocked on for lunch too! we had a triple and the room was comfortable. good shower pressure. our room faced the street and it was surprisingly quiet. There was a mouse in our room which kept us awake most of the night. when i asked the receptionist if we could change rooms he said that "this is amsterdam and there are mice all over the place". i have stayed in many times in amsterdam and have never encountered this problem. the bathroom was a tight squeeze. Room comfortable, very convenient location.No internet access in room despite this being shown on web information. in fact even the phone extension in room couldn't be used for calling outside hotel, which i found absurd.
