How to reach the hotel? How to reach the hotel?
From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM .

From Amsterdam Central Station: You don't have take the tram, you can walk to the hotel in approximately 1 minute. Exit the central station from the main exit on the city side (follow the taxi sign). Turn right when you exit and follow the path to leave the station grounds. At the crossing light cross the street and walk straight into the street in front of you. This is " Martelaarsgracht" on the corner is a little bar and just a little down the street you will find the hotel on your right.

Lovely clean rooms... super service and 2 top it off we were asked on the 2nd day if we wud like a room upgrade 2 a larger room.

We arrived mid morning and were able to go straight to our room as it was ready. if it wasn't, they have a room to store your bags while you go out for a wander. our room was european standard size and clean. breakfast was good, the only thing missing for me was fresh fruit. staff were very friendly and helpful. would definitely book here again.

Excellent location from the station, restaurants and sights.
Room maintenance should be looked at. one bedside lamp did not work. the bathroom creates a damp problem in the room because the extractor was not working.

The majority of the rooms are very small which also includes the en-suit facilities, not ideal however manageable for a few day's. no tv remote controls or tea/coffee facilities in the rooms.

Had problems checking in, even after giving the confirmation letter that we had paid in full prior to our visit they insited we pay again with a bank card, we stood or ground and the receptionist had to telephone someone else and eventualy we were allowed in, this caused embaressment as their were other people in the que waiting to check in

Staff kind and helpfull. very good location (close to the central station). room cleaned every day.
Very small room and bathroom. small place for breakfest - in the entrance to the hotel. breakfests - only toasts, cheese, eggs and ham - no chance for something warm like scrambled eggs or sausages.
