Nice staff, good location, clean bathroomThe room was too small and we were in the basement, which was loud as it was just by a canal and was too warm (as i guess the heater was just next door). i would recommend not staying in the basement.Pearson

Location was fantastic, on the singel canal and very short walk from main station. hotel staff were really friendly and obliging and we had a wonderful view of the canal from our room. the linen was clean and good quality and overall cleanliness was good.The hotel looks gorgeous from the outside but the bedroom furnishings are so very sad! we are talking chipboard here, the hotel deserves better! everything says quality except for the bedroom furnishings..why? other minor moans are smallish rooms and croissants at breakfast which would have made a really welcome addition. despite that i had a brilliant stay and would go again. its location and staff friendliness compensate for any minor moans. its a bit pricey but the exchange rate is so rotten everything was.singh-sually
