 "Good location"
Nice clean hotel, some rooms overlook the canal. Staff helpful they gave us a tip of a great restaurant nearby. When you enter rooms you have to switch on the main electric switch to get TV etc to work. There wasn't any tea or coffee in room you had to got to room/lounge area then ask reception for it.
Hotel in good location we were able to walk to main square, red light district and right next to the Koninklijk threaten Carre.
Would defianately go back. Don't forget the local tax in the price which is added to the bill.

 "Bridge Hotel Amsterdam"
We booked the Bridge as it was next door to the Carre Theatre where we had tickets to see a concert. It is a great hotel, everything is within walking distance. Main shopping area is 20 minutes walk and lovely restaurants and shops en route. Situated by the Skinny Bridge which is really pretty. Staff are really helpful. Clean, well appointed. Breakfast was good.

 "Bridge Hotel Amsterdam"
I was a little sceptical after reading reviews, but what a charming little hotel! Staff were very helpful, and could not do enough for you. Bedrooms modern, so perhaps not to everyone's liking. (would have liked coffee making facilities in room, but that was free 24 hrs at reception lounge )A very plentiful continental breakfast. The hotel is not in the centre, a little out of the main area, (but well within walking distance) right next door to the Carre Theatre, which is where we were visiting !Would stay again

"This is not hotel, it's hostel"
When we arrived to the hotel comes out, that room we booked was without windows, but we were lucky and got room with it. About that as informed very NOT nice woman in reception. She said as well to be hurry, because she very busy. We made reservation on easytobook.com page there wasn't information, that room we book without window. Also to the total price we paid in hotel was higher, because of not included tax. later we founded out from easytobook.com page, that's it's true. But I think more comfortable if easytobook.com will provide prices with all taxes included). Woman in reception also said, that we can get internet access only for one device. in number was old tv, not flat screen as it was in add.info. not very close to center. better to take another hotel.

 "Disappointed"
We chose this hotel for the location and the good comments we read on TripAdvisor. But we were disappointed with this hotel: - we couldn't appreciate the landscape from the room - the room wasn't cleaned before we arrived and during our stay (dust everywhere!!) - small room - no elevatorHowever, the service and the breakfast were enjoyable

 "Dutch Dash"
We both had a fantastic stay in the Bridge Hotel, the best we have stayed in to date in Amsterdam. We will be returning to this hotel again as it offered efficient, friendly customer service, a clean and well prepaired spacious room (room 211) with a great breakfast

 "Disappointed"
I was disappointed with the room we were given. The walls were so thin we could hear the couple and their baby next door. We were offered another room, but they didn't seem any better and were smaller or darker and faced an interior very small courtyard. The hotel did speak to the couple next door and asked them to be quieter, but even so we bought some earplugs. The location of the hotel couldn't be better, but the rooms were over priced for what was offered..

 "Pleaseant stay in Amsterdam"
We chose The Bridge Hotel mainly for its location and fair room rate knowing that Amsterdam is notorious for expensive hotels,We found the staff not only friendly but also helpful(I would rate it as 10).Our room was on the top floor and since the hotel has NO Elevator a helping hand from the staff was indeed much appreciated.

"Great location and unobtrusive efficient service"
I chose the Bridge Hotel for the following reasons: its outside the heaving city centre but only a few minutes away on excellent public transport, its quiet and our room had a great view of the Amstel and the Magere Brug. The hotel is a few minutes away from Utrechtsestraat with a good range of restaurants. The room was spacious, breakfast was a brilliant buffet and the staff very helpful. Highly recommended

 "Boutique Hotel in great neighborhood"
The Bridge Hotel is a lovely hotel overlooking a canal and the Amstel River. Breakfast is included in the rate and is of a very high quality with many choices. Our room had two very large windows overlooking the canal. It was adequate in size with a modern bathroom with shower. One drawback was there was little place for clothes, although two lockers were provided with a few hangers. Be prepared as there is no elevator and a lot of stairs, depending on your room location. The location was very good, within walking distance to many sights. It is also between two metro and tram stops which is convenient to getting around. There are very good restaurants right over the bridge and a bike rental shop around the corner. The front desk staff is very accommodating and eager to help. From Central Station I might recommend a taxi rather than the tram, as with luggage it is a bit of a walk. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

"Thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay - recommended!"
Hotel is in a great location - peaceful, right on the Amstel, picturesque area, but only a short 5-10 minute walk from the nearest Metro or Tram stops. Room 225 was modern, large with very comfortable beds overlooking the canal that ran perpendicular to the Amstel, through large picture windows. Very large walk in shower room. Staff very friendly and most helpful. Breakfast served in large bright room downstairs (albeit a little warm). Good range of cold meats, cheeses, cereals & breads/rolls, jams etc plus good range of tea/coffee/juices although no hot/cooked foods other than warm soft boiled eggs which were great cut up on toast and tasty ham. More than enough choice to keep you going. Very happy with our choice of Hotel and its location. Perhaps a little pricy at €180 per night but certainly not out of kilter with other Amsterdam hotels and would happily return/recommend to anyone. Amsterdam is a great place to explore. Buy a 24/48/72 hour travel pass for all Metro/Tram/buses at Iamamsterdam info centre opposite Amsterdam Centraal and use it to your hearts content or your feet drop off! Worth also buying a dated/timed Anne Franks House ticket here also as you'll jump the long queues and enter by a different entrance to go straight in at your allotted time.

 "Friends trip to Amsterdam"
From the moment we arrived 1st June 2012 until the day of our departure 4th June 2012 all the staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful, particularly the hotel reception staff. The location's fantastic, a quiet, but accessible spot, with great views out over the Skinny Bridge and Amstel river. The beds were super comfy. We stayed in the Amstel Light Apartment and would recommend this for a family, or group of friends, because of the comfort of your own lounge, kitchen facilities etc. All that stops me marking cleanliness and rooms a 5 is we did need to dust some of the surfaces in the bedroom, which seemed to have been overlooked and I would have liked to see a dressing table area in one of the rooms with a mirror, plus large mugs, not just small espresso size. I thoroughly recommend the apartment.Stephanie, Leeds, UK

"Great Stay at the Bridge Hotel"
We had a great stay at the Bridge hotel which was close to Rembrantsplein and other great areas. The staff was great the rooms were much roomier than I expected. There are a few good restaurants frequented by the locals a few blocks south on Amstel Street and we really enjoyed Bar Lempicka which was a stones throw away.I would definitely stay here again.
