1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes a train runs from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport, go to the central hall; there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station run from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).

In a good area, and hotel gave a map on check in that was fantastic, they pointed out good areas. also great for metro and trams services
At checkout we was charge 560 euros, not 533 as per the website booking stated. they were very slow during breakfast to clear away tables and replenish the food, so often had to choose from items left.

Great location very close to the hermitage museum and just outside the main tourist areas. i had a quiet room overlooking a canal at the back of the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. breakfast had a vast choice and was delicious.
We didn't get the room we booked and so ended up paying more as apparently they upgraded us to a 'better' room but the beds were two single and at other ends of the room from each other. so not great for couples.

Great breakfast - clean room - great service - beatiful location at the amstel with nice restaurants nearby - very quiet - i can highly recommend this hotel
I would choose a room with window the next time. the skylight window was broken, so it couldn't be opened.

Staff were very helpful. room was spacious and clean and overlooked the canal.
Having to carry bags up a narrow flight of steps. also shelving in the bathroom would be an advantage as there is nowhere to put toiletry bag.
