By car, from direction Den Haag/Schiphol/Haarlem A4: The journey takes about 40 minutes. When reaching the A10 ring Amsterdam follow the direction 'Zuid' and look for exit S109(Amsterdam/Rai). Take exit S109 and turn right (Europa Boulevard). Take the second exit on the roundabout and turn left after 450 metres (Wielingenstraat). After 900 metres turn right into the 'Stadionweg'. After 500 metres turn left onto the 'Hobbemakade'. After 250 metres you are on the 'Roelof Hartplein' with The College Hotel on your right side.
1) From Schiphol Airport:
Every 20 minutes a train runs from the airport to Amsterdam Central
Station. When you arrive at the airport, go to the central hall, there
is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central
station run from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).
Amsterdam Central Station: You can take tram nr. 5 or 24 from the
square in front of the station to the 'Roelof Hartplein' stop. From there you can walk
to the hotel in less than a minute. The trams in Amsterdam normally
run from 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.
Many of Amsterdam's key attractions are within easy reach with the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Diamond Factory, and the city centre all within four kilometers of the hotel vicinity. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is approximately 25 kilometers and a 30-minute drive from the hotel.
